Architectural Details by Blue Genie ArtBlue Genie Art has experience in all forms of architectural detailing work. Whether you need to reproduce existing architectural elements, recreate from historical photographs, or create a new architectural element, we can help. Exterior elements can be concrete, foam, wood or resin. Interior details can be plaster in addition to concrete, foam, wood and resin. If you need a decorative cornice, unique pediments, columns or caryatids, balustrades, niches or any element of a facade, our new 3D laser scanner and 3 axis CNC milling machine make all architectural elements possible and accurate. With our experience with mold making and casting we can create one or one hundred of any item you need. Our skills in large scale mold-making were invaluable in creating the large glass fiber reinforced concrete panels for the Texas State History Museum. Blue Genie Art also creates accurate and to scale models of all kinds. We can create architectural models, topo models (3 dimensional terrain models created from satellite data), and models used in litigation. We can create models based on architectural plans, like the historical model we did of Fort Clatsop, or we can make models of buildings that have yet to be built. The head of our architectural department has years of experience in models of all kinds.

Blue Genie Art Industries just won the 2004 Heritage Society of Austin Merit Award for Organizations for two projects we worked on, the cornice frieze at 811 Congress, and the widow's walk reconstruction at 608 Baylor Street.
Check out the concrete cornice which looks just like stone and the cast epoxy railing that looks exactly like wood.
