Just about every year, VP of Blue Genie Art, Dana Younger, holds a mold making seminar.  This highly anticipated and informative seminar is an overview, with demonstrations, of the various techniques and materials used in mold making.

This seminar is for the artist or entrepreneur who wants to learn how to make multiple copies of objects, or to be able to cast objects in a particular material.  The seminar is great for the novice who has no experience in mold making, or for the artist looking for new techniques and information.

Blue Genie Moldmaking and Casting Services

We offer moldmaking and casting services to meet a wide variety of needs.  We make molds mostly in flexible rubber such as polyurethane and silicone.  However we are also versed in waste molding techniques using plaster, wood and foam.

Polyurethane, epoxy, concrete, plaster and foam are a few of the casting mediums we use most frequently.  Although we don't offer hot metal casting, we are comfortable with cold casting techniques using bronze, nickel silver and brass.
