Lil' Jerry Sculpture

The good people at Jerry's Artarama contacted us to put their store mascot on top of their pole sign at 6010 N I H 35 in Austin, Texas.
Their freeway location demanded that they go the extra mile on their sign's visibility.
In this case, they wanted their mascot, Lil' Jerry, sixteen feet tall.
The sculpture also rotates, and the paint daubs on
Lil' Jerry's palette and brush are high lighted with colorful neon.
One of the most extraordinary features of this cute icon, that no one will ever see, is his massive interior steel armature.
We included a picture of the steel armature in our shop with the Blue Genie Staff hanging on it, so everyone can see what's inside a project like this.
A great deal of engineering and craftsmanship went into the construction of the frame, which supports the styrofoam body, and keeps the sculpture safe and functional.
We coat all of our styrofoam sculptures with a super durable Polyurea hard coat, to insure the sculpture will look great for many years to come.
