Lollapalooza

In 2005 CSE produced another great Lollapallooza festival, this time in Chicago, Illinois.
Frank Zepponi designed both the entry way and this far out information kiosk for this popular event.
Blue Genie Art created components for each design.
For the entry way we engineered and created the faux rusty metallic scoops at the bottom of each scaffolding tower.
Within each scoop is a fan that blows the oversized balloons around in the towers.
For the information kiosk we engineered and created the kinetic Calderesque contraption on top of the
scaffolding.
This piece was completely wind powered.
